US iGaming to take center stage at SBC Summit North America’s full-day track

Industry

The US iGaming industry is set to take the spotlight at SBC Summit North America, as executives and specialists from Bally’s, Resorts Digital Gaming, BetMGM and Penn National Gaming will share their insights on the future of the industry at the conference and tradeshow, which has added EML Payments as one of its sponsors.

The event, which will take place at Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey, Nov. 30 – Dec. 2, will put iGaming and the opportunities for its expansion in tandem with mobile sports betting at the heart of the conference discussions. In addition to the executives, a series of experts will also provide insights to attendants.

The expo’s agenda features a full-day “iGaming Americas” track. To be held on Thursday, December 2, the track will examine the reasons why online casinos have been such a hit in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Michigan, as well as the challenges operators can expect as more states legalize and the market grows.

Specific topics which will be under discussion during the event include how suppliers can best help operators meet the growing demand in the five states where online gaming is already legal, which strategies should be applied to reach and engage with Gen Z players, and the relationship between social and real-money gaming.

Moreover, the next generation of online casino tech will also be under the spotlight, according to a press release. Panels will address which areas are most in need of further development, and how to effectively utilize the latest mobile and real-time technology “to improve the slots experience” for the customer.

The speaker lineup includes Adi Dhandhania, COO of North America Interactive, Bally’s Corporation; Ed Andrewes, CEO at Resorts Digital; Manuel Stan, SVP US at Kindred Group; Matt Sunderland, VP Gaming at BetMGM; Lovell Walker, VP Development at Penn National Gaming; and Adam Nobel, Chief Development Officer at PlayStar Casino

Insights and ideas will be also shared by suppliers to the iGaming industry, including representatives for Rush Street Interactive, GAN, Evolution, Playtech, SG Digital, Incentive Games, Agora and Millicast.

The event has also unveiled payment solutions company EML Payments as sponsor of the summit. EML’s end-to-end solution powers the sports betting and iGaming industries, with the aim of reducing “payment costs and improving the overall customer experience,” as players experience betting, control and payouts “all in one app.”

Reflecting on the decision to rebrand the show from Betting on Sports America to SBC Summit North America in order to include iGaming, taken a year ago, Rasmus Sojmar, Founder and CEO of event organizer SBC, said:

“The growth of iGaming in the intervening months has been huge, and we’re delighted to have some of the leading figures in the industry join us in New Jersey to share their experiences and offer some insights into the next steps for this exciting segment.”

iGaming Americas is one of eight tracks on the SBC Summit North America conference agenda. The other seven cover industry leadership challenges, regulatory developments, technology and innovation, payments and compliance, the future of sports betting, capital and growth, and marketing strategies.

The Summit will launch with a networking party at rapper and businessman Jay Z’s 40/40 Club in Manhattan on November 30, before the conference and tradeshow at Meadowlands. Moreover, the Sports Betting Hall of qaFame ceremony will be held at the MetLife Stadium on December 1.

The following evening, on December 2, the SBC Awards North America ceremony will take place, alongside the closing networking party at The Edison Ballroom in New York City. Attendants can already book their passes for SBC Summit North America at the event’s official website.
