US player hits $1M+ jackpot twice in the same day at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood

Industry

Gambling history was made this month as a player in the US hit two $1 million-plus jackpots on the same day. A lucky gambler at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood became a millionaire – and then won a further million – on Wednesday, April 10, in an incredible feat the casino company believes to be a worldwide first.

The unnamed gambler won a jackpot totaling $1,287,149 when playing Dragon Link at the Florida casino – the biggest payout at the property in the past month – an achievement that would seem life-changing on its own.

But what’s more impressive is that the same person, who remains anonymous, had won a $1,199,060 jackpot on the same link earlier in the day, demonstrating an unparalleled amount of luck.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood is the flagship-integrated resort of Hard Rock International, owned by the Seminole Tribe of Florida. The property encompasses a AAA Four Diamond-rated hotel featuring 638 upscale guestrooms, while its gaming area offers a selection of 2,700 Slots, nearly 200 Table Games and a new 45-table Poker Room.

Hard Rock tells Yogonet this is “the first known instance of a single player hitting more than a million-dollar win twice in the same day on Dragon Link anywhere in the world,” an incredibly unlikely occurrence that the casino still can’t believe.

Aristocrat Gaming’s Dragon Link $1 million progressive jackpot can be found at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, and Seminole Coconut Creek Casino. The progressive jackpot starts at $1 million at each property, meaning players have three places to play for $1 million jackpots.
