Zitro delivered more than 3,200 hours of ESG training to staff at its Spanish facilities in 2025, a 33% jump from the prior year, as the average employee received 3.80 hours of instruction, up from 3.12 hours in 2024.
The per-employee figure exceeded the internal target the company set for the year. Zitro’s Sustainability and Learning departments worked together to design the training initiatives, adjusting content to match the company’s changing operational needs throughout the period.
Employees received instruction across three core areas tied to the company’s sustainability approach.
Environmental sessions addressed energy efficiency, waste management, circular economy practices, and methods to lower the carbon output of daily operations.
Social training covered occupational health and safety, diversity and inclusion, work-life balance and employee well-being.
Governance-related instruction focused on business ethics, regulatory compliance, transparency and corporate best practices.
Zitro said the increased training hours support its approach to corporate responsibility, aligning internal employee development with international standards for sustainable and ethical business practices.
