2026 FIFA World Cup Group Stage

Brazil and Scotland are heading for the final games in the Group Stage of the FIFA World Cup. While Scotland is a heavy underdog, its defenses may not buckle under Brazil, which defeated Haiti with a comfortable 3-0 but fumbled its game against Morocco and ended to a painful 1-1 draw. Scotland could yet throw another wrench in the works.

Brazil Needs a Win, But a Draw Will Suffice

Brazil and Morocco are set to exit the Group Stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and yet – how they achieve this will matter. While Morocco is currently set to face arguably the least formidable team in the group – Haiti.

Brazil has a real chance of defeating Scotland, although the oddsmakers are cautious about giving it too big of an advantage with Brazil a comfortable favorite at (-262), but things could go wrong.

While Scotland lost to Morocco by a single goal, the country was caught off guard 2’.

This gives us some room to speculate as to whether Scotland can hold its own against Brazil. In fact, securing a win would be somewhat hard to imagine, unless Brazil’s defense slips hard, but ultimately – a draw could also be a possibility.

With the odds setting such an event at (+437) there is still a fairly decent chance that Scotland may hold its own. After all, the country has only allowed one goal to Morocco’s Ismael Saibari who scored against Brazil as well, but admittedly caught Scotland off-guard in the 2’.

Brazil though is bringing an elite team of strikers and forward players who have already put their names on the score board this tournament, including Matheus Cunha and Vinicius Junior, both of whom have two goals so far in the tournament, and will be looking to add to their names.

Scotland is also excited by the prospect of performing well against Brazil, with the team even dreaming of winning. We, however, believe that the draw outcome is the most likely one, if you are willing to go out on a limb and put your faith in the Europeans.

Pick: Draw (+437)
