A player in Charlotte, North Carolina, scooped a $100,000 payday from the Powerball lottery after purchasing their ticket at a Charlotte gas station.
The player managed to secure the six-figure prize after they purchased their ticket from the QuikTrip on West W.T. Harris Boulevard just in time for the game’s drawing on Wednesday, June 10.
The winner, who was not identified, was able to match four of the numbers along with the red Powerball and had the two-times Power Play multiplier, making their win well-deserved.
The winning numbers for that night’s game draw were 12, 31, 38, 60, and 66 with a Powerball of 14. The next Powerball drawing is also nearing, with the jackpot having reached around $258 million.
Powerball hopefuls may tune in and watch the draw on Saturday, June 13, and as usual, remember to check their tickets carefully.
North Carolina has been producing many lottery winners of late, and although not all of these stories took place on the Powerball or Mega Millions, there are quite a few noteworthy jackpot stories to highlight.
