DATA.Bet Brings Esports Offer to Africa with Hollywoodbets

DATA.Bet has expanded its esports betting reach by teaming up with Hollywoodbets, a leading company in the African iGaming market, and will now provide it with advanced sportsbook features designed to support real-time esports betting.

The partnership is an important step forward for the sportsbook solution supplier as well as the operator, which is now able to provide advanced esports betting markets and supporting features to its local players.

DATA.Bet Expands in South Africa with Esports Options

The full ecosystem of esports products includes the Odds Feed, Bet Builder, Widgets, Streaming, and Single Page Application or iFrame. Players will now have access to more than 7770 markets and 30 esports betting disciplines, along with 10,000 events to choose from.

DATA.Bet covers such markets as Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Rainbow Six, and Valorant, a mix of MOBA and FPS games, offering a wide variety of options to players with 90% market availability and 99.99% uptime, both of which are hallmarks of quality.

“This partnership is about giving Hollywoodbets a complete esports product they can launch with confidence. The iFrame removes integration complexity, and with risk management and trading on our side, they get strong margins and a consistent user experience from day one,” DATA.Bet head of sales Otto Bonning said, commenting on this opportunity.

He noted that esports is an emerging vertical in South Africa, and one that and as such the two companies can work together to strengthen their local reach in the market.

Hollywoodbets Keen to Capitalize on the Growing Interest in the Esports Betting Ecosystem

Hollywoodbets head of product, Wayde Dorkin, was similarly excited to see this partnership materialize itself, with Dorkin noting that the company was looking to strengthen its presence in the market.

“At Hollywoodbets, our focus is on continuously evolving our product offering. The launch of esports is an important milestone for us, given that the category has become a major part of the global sports and entertainment landscape,” Dorkin added, and said that the company was looking to offer local players one of the best esports experiences possible.

Last year, DATA.Bet signed a deal with Entain NCE, strengthening the latter’s esports footprint in the Baltics, and specifically, Estonia.
