Gamecheck has uncovered 5000 fraudulent online casinos in Brazil in the first half of 2026 and has initiated a multi-part investigation to present details about them.
Starting from this week, Gamecheck will unveil 50 fraudulent domains every Monday to inform the public about fake casino operators.
During its operations, Gamecheck has claimed that it has found over 8000 fake gambling products around the globe, 6800 of which are found in Brazil alone. In just one month, Gamecheck managed to come up with a list of 3800 fraudulent gambling websites, making Brazil the biggest counterfeiting market.

In 2025, the regulated online gambling market in Brazil was established, becoming one of the fastest-growing gambling jurisdictions in the world. Based on information from the Brazilian Secretariat of Prizes and Bets, licensed operators’ revenues made up almost $7 billion in 2025, while forecasts from H2 Gambling Capital suggest that the market will reach $10 billion by 2029.
Just a year after the regulation, Brazil has become the fifth largest betting market in the world, with regulated operators having generated about $290 million in tax revenues in January of 2026, according to Brazilian Federal Revenue Service statistics.
Gamecheck believes that the rapid growth of the gaming market together with people’s inclination to mobile phones and high levels of activity in the field of online gambling have facilitated the activities of fraudsters.
