Gambling Regulators European Forum (GREF), the main unifying body, that brings together gambling regulators from across Europe and other jurisdictions, has announced two members stepping down from the board with new officers taking positions.
Tim Miller has resigned as treasurer of GREF after leaving his position as chief executive of the British Gambling Commission. During a crucial moment of reforming UK gambling regulation, Miller was partaking in GREF as UK regulator representative.
Ian Angus, the Gambling Commission’s director of policy, has taken over the position of treasurer. Ruth Evans took over as new chair, while the search for a new CEO at the gambling regulator continues after Andrew Rhodes’ departure in April.
Jean-Michel Costes has departed from the GREF board following the completion of his tenure at France’s Autorité Nationale des Jeux (ANJ) where he has worked for a number of years.
GREF has appointed Olivia Petit as the new secretary of the board.
