Kitsune Studios’ Leatherheads is all about its firefighter crew that stands vigil over the city of Blazeton. Joining the crew can be rewarding, too, as players can win up to 10,000x in all game modes.
The symbols in the game include burning leathers, as well as images of the aforementioned firefighters. Led by a sporty redhead lady, the team also includes an aged firefighter holding a “Get Wet” cup, a muscular tough guy serving as the brawn of the team, a lady with a distinct tattoo on her neck, and a moustache-wearing womanizer character.
Most spins are accompanied by chill music that gets much more intense once wins are scored, or the Free Spins feature comes up.
While firefighters are a rare theme for a slot game, this isn’t everything unique about Kitsune Studios’ Leatherheads game. As a game about firefighters, much of the action is all about the Spreading Fire Hose symbol.
In addition to acting as Wild Multipliers, these symbols can spread either left across a row or upwards on a reel, turning other symbols into identical Spreading Fire Hose ones. However, the spread happens only when it would create a winning combination.
If spreads intersect, the multipliers are added together. When part of a win, all Fire Hose symbols’ multipliers are added together and applied to the win.

The PUT IT OUT SPINS! variant is triggered with 4 FS Scatter symbols in the base game. The main difference is that Fire Hose symbols in this mode become sticky and remain on the grid for the entire feature. The only thing changing about stuck symbols is their multiplier, which changes with each spin.
A Get Wet symbol during the feature copies each Sticky Fire Hose between 3 and 10 times, placing Fire Hose symbols randomly across the reels. As before, overlapping symbols combine their multipliers. Copied Fire Hoses and Get Wet symbols are removed from the grid after the spin.
