Prediction markets giant Kalshi has launched a platform called Kalshi Pro, specifically tailored for the needs of high-volume traders, allowing them to trade on multiple markets at the same time.
Kalshi Launches New Pro Platform
According to Kalshi, the new feature is a professional-grade desktop app that would allow users to move with speed during live events, while also offering the well-known features of the usual app. Kalshi Pro operates on the same account, balance, and exchange as the standard Kalshi app, but offers professional-grade trading tools for users seeking a more advanced trading experience. It is designed for traders managing dozens of markets simultaneously, reacting to live events in real time, or running order books as part of their business.
Kalshi, which claimed 65% of the $50 billion prediction market share in June, says that this launch marks an evolution from a retail-focused prediction market app into a full-service financial exchange serving a broad range of investors. While the company has long had the infrastructure of a traditional exchange, it lacked the advanced trading tools expected by professional users. Kalshi Pro fills that gap by bringing the sophisticated front-end functionality typically offered by established exchanges and brokerages directly to the platform.
What Features Does Kalshi Pro Offer?
Kalshi Pro introduces a range of advanced trading features, such as Canvas, a customizable workspace that enables traders to monitor multiple markets simultaneously. Each market displays its own order book, chart, and order panel. Users can save personalized layouts and manage resting orders using professional-grade tools, including sortable and filterable order tables, inline order modifications, batch cancellations, and more.
Active Markets Screener is another new feature that Kalshi boasts about. It is a real-time market scanner that enables traders to track roughly 2,000 markets, ranked by metrics such as price, bid-ask spread, market depth, and rolling five-minute trading volume. A live trade tape provides a continuous view of activity across the exchange as it unfolds.
Kalshi Pro also includes an Integrated Perpetuals Interface that has features like licensed TradingView Advanced Charts, live order books, and a full trade blotter for every active cryptocurrency available on Kalshi. Traders can choose between isolated and cross-margin modes, while built-in risk management tools include take-profit and stop-loss orders that can be placed and adjusted directly from the chart, reduce-only orders, maximum slippage protection, and proactive margin-risk alerts.
In other news about Kalshi, the company’s troubles in Michigan continue, as the state said it will continue to block sports event contracts offered by the trading markets platform.
