Las Vegas Grand Prix Confirmed on F1 Calendar Through 2037

Formula 1 has secured the future of one of its most high-profile events, confirming that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain on the championship calendar until 2037.

10 More Years

The new agreement adds another decade to the race’s long-term outlook and further strengthens Formula 1’s growing presence in the United States.

Since it made its official comeback to Las Vegas in 2023, the race has turned into one of the sport’s most recognizable events, mixing world-class racing with the city’s famous entertainment scene.

The Las Vegas street circuit runs through the heart of the city and features a lengthy section along the iconic Las Vegas Strip. The event stands out from many other races because Formula 1 acts as both promoter and host, giving the series direct control over its organization and presentation.

Last year, Formula 1 and local officials extended the original agreement through 2027. However, Clark County had already indicated plans to keep the event running well into the next decade.

The newly announced extension now guarantees the race’s place on the calendar through the 2037 season.

The Holy Trio in F1

The commitment further boosts Formula 1’s broader strategy in the United States. On top of Las Vegas, the United States Grand Prix in Austin will also carry on through 2034, while the Miami Grand Prix will continue through 2041.

Together, the three events form a key part of the sport’s expansion in one of its most important markets.

A major element of the Las Vegas event is Grand Prix Plaza, a dedicated 39-acre facility built specifically for Formula 1 operations. During race week, the complex serves as the paddock and race headquarters, while also functioning as a year-round attraction.

Formula 1 President and chief executive officer Stefano Domenicali welcomed the announcement, describing Las Vegas as one of the standout destinations on the current schedule. He said the event has exceeded expectations since its debut and has delivered lasting benefits for the local economy and community.

The economic impact remains a major factor behind the race’s success, with figures released by organizers saying the Las Vegas Grand Prix generated $43 million in state and local tax revenue last year alone.

Officials believe the event will keep convincing more visitors from around the world to gather in Vegas.
