This Time the Pigs Are Spookier

Light & Wonder’s Huff N’ Puff Haunted Mansion is a classic Halloween tale full of pumpkin lanterns and pigs dressed as ghosts, skeletons, zombies, and serial killers. Set against a backdrop featuring the titular haunted mansion, this new game elevates the experience by using a creepy soundtrack and evil laugh tracks during the bonus game.

Symbols pay anywhere on the grid, as long as there are enough of them, resulting in a relaxing experience where players do not have to worry about paylines.

Additionally, before a base game spin initiates, a number of positions can be randomly selected by the Mystery Stacked Reels feature, immediately turning them into one of the three high-paying pig symbols.

The Big Bad Wolf also appears in the game, serving as the game’s Wild symbol and also playing a huge role at the end of the game’s bonus rounds.

Plenty of Features to Look Forward to

During the base game, a special Ghost Pig symbol can appear over any number of reels. If 6 or more Pumpkin symbols are collected, a Free Spins round with 6 spins starts. If, at the time of the feature’s activation, a Ghost Pig was present, a new Pumpkin symbol is awarded. During the feature, the Ghost Pig can randomly award even more Pumpkins, all of which grant white bone frames.

Collecting Scatter symbols (represented by a will) can trigger the Haunted Mansion feature, which may award an instant prize of up to 4,000x, one of the game’s four jackpots, or one of the bonus games.

The Torch-Up Feature, Halloween Feature, and Graveyard Feature all start with 6 spins, although their mechanics differ. Before the free spins begin, the Torch-Up feature torches 2-5 reel positions, granting up to 2 bony frames, plus additional frames every time pumpkins land.

The Halloween Feature, on the other hand, adds an extra row, making wins even easier. Additionally, before the spins begin, it adds bony frames to 5-10 random positions.

The Graveyard Feature, meanwhile, can be triggered both via the Haunted Mansion Feature and via Bonus symbols. In the latter case, the position of the symbols that triggered it will immediately be granted gold frames. Otherwise, three random positions are selected.

Frames can be upgraded from white to red and from red to gold. At the end of the feature, all marked positions spawn a coffin that reveals a prize fitting its tier. White coffins hide prizes of between 0.5x and 1.5x, red coffins offer prizes of between 1.5x and 5x, or the Minor or Mini jackpot, while gold coffins offer prizes of between 7.5x and 75x, a Minor or Mini jackpot, or a bonus symbol.
