A lottery winner’s spot of good luck may have been sensed by the man before the actual event occurred, or so Erik Cargile of Charlotte, North Carolina claims.
Winning a $100,000 prize from the Powerball, Cargile told the North Carolina Education Lottery officials that he had a “good feeling” about the $3 Quick Pick ticket he purchased on June 10, and his premonitions turned out to be correct.
“Lately, I have been having visions of winning the lottery,” the man confided, and just like that – these feelings turned out to be true. Cargile didn’t even realize that he had won a six-figure prize, downplaying his possible win to $10,000.
“I was thinking maybe like $10,000. It was a shocking feeling when I heard,” he added. His original prize was worth $50,000 but that amount was doubled thanks to a 2X Multiplier through the Power Play option.
