Mindway AI Unleashes Gamalyze Sports in Time for World Cup

Mindway AI, an award-winning safer gambling software built on a unique combination of neuroscience, AI and expert assessments, has unveiled the global launch of its Gamalyze Sports solutions. Gamalyze Sports comes just in time for the World Cup and an expected surge in global sports betting.

In its official announcement, Mindway AI explained that it was thrilled to launch Gamalyze Sports – a reimagination of its flagship gamified responsible gambling tool. Unlike the original solution, which focuses on the traditional card-game format, Gamalyze Sports turns the safer gaming experience into an “immersive, highly engaging soccer game,” reflecting the spirit of the World Cup season.  

Mindway AI argued that turning boring forms of protection into an active game eliminates the clinical stigma associated with traditional lower-engagement questionnaires. Instead, it offers an audiovisual experience complete with stadium sounds, cheers, confetti effects and a moving goalkeeper.

This mini-game has been designed to examine player choices and their sensitivity to rewards and losses. Instead of relying on the bias of self-reporting, this game delivers an authentic and entertaining way to probe players’ habits and spark critical self-awareness before compulsive behavior escalates.

How Gamalyze Sports Works?

Participants are given $2,000 and asked to take 80 penalty kicks against the goalkeeper. Each time, they can choose between four balls, each of which has hidden statistics. Successful goals award money, but each time the goalkeeper mounts a successful defense, players lose money.

Each of the four balls has different hidden statistics, with some offering consistent prizes and penalties, and others providing higher rewards for successful goals, but also significant losses when a goal is saved. The test determines players’ sensitivity to patterns and how likely they are to take risks or engage in loss-chasing.

Gamalyze Sports is based on 10 years of neuroimaging and behavioral research from Aarhus University. When players complete the test, they are asked to gauge the risk they took before being shown the actual result. After that, the real result is revealed along with a tailored feedback report and a preventative, actionable plan based on players’ unique decision-making strategy.

This gamified solution can be incorporated into operators’ platforms to allow them to gauge the risk levels of various players. The title is localized in 14 languages, allowing it to reach a broader audience.
