Pennsylvania Lottery Player Wins $1M from $50 Scratcher

The Pennsylvania Lottery announced that a top-prize-winning scratch-off ticket has been sold in Pittsburgh. As of the time of this writing, the winner has yet to come forward.

Allegheny County Shop Sells $1M Ticket

In its official release, the Pennsylvania Lottery said that one of its retailers in Allegheny County just sold a Million Dollar Win It All scratch-off ticket worth some $1,000,000. As the game’s title suggests, this is the top prize one could hope to win from one of its tickets.

Lottery officials clarified that the winning ticket was sold at Nilkanth Convenience Corp (Uni-Mart), 1601 Lowrie St., Pittsburgh. The shop is set to receive a $5,000 incentive bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Pennsylvania Lottery reminded players that they must claim their winnings within a year of the win’s date. It also encouraged any potential winners to sign the back of their ticket and immediately call the lottery.

For reference, Million Dollar Win It All is a $50 game that offers top prizes of $1 million. At launch, the game featured 20 such prizes. As it turns out, the Allegheny County winner is the first big winner of the game, as the Pennsylvania Lottery says that there are 19 top prizes that have yet to be won.

In addition to the top prizes, the game also features 25 second-tier prizes of $100,000. More information about Million Dollar Win It All is available on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s official website.

Three Players Split a $2M Prize

A few days ago, the Pennsylvania Lottery reported that three Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets have guessed all winning numbers for the Monday, June 29 drawing. As a result, the three lucky winners will split the $2,000,001 jackpot, with each taking home $666,667 before taxes.

For reference, the winning combination was 4-5-6-29-31. The lottery added that the winning tickets were sold at First Stop Tobacco Shop, 204 East Bridge St., Morrisville Boro, Bucks County, and Exxon, 6898 Marshall Road, Upper Darby Township, Delaware County. Officials clarified that the latter shop sold two of the three jackpot-winning tickets.

Each of the three shops will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning tickets.
