Powerball Hands $2M Prizes to Two Players

The Saturday Powerball drawing has awarded two prizes of $2 million to two extremely lucky players. At the same time, over two dozen people won third-tier prizes, with seven of them scooping up $100,000 each.

Saturday Drawing Saw Many Americans Win Big

The drawing that took place on June 27 saw American Powerball players compete for a $346 million jackpot with a cash value of $157.6 million. While no one was lucky enough to win the game’s top prize, the drawing was still very fruitful for the players as quite a few of them won significant sums.

For reference, the winning numbers drawn Saturday were 3, 16, 28, 30, and 59, plus the red Powerball 11. The Power Play multiplier, on the other hand, was 2x.

While the drawing didn’t deliver a jackpot win, two separate players matched the five white numbers to win Match 5 prizes. While the usual Match 5 prize is $1 million, both players, ticket holders in Arizona and Tennessee, will take $2 million instead due to the fact that both had the Power Play feature active.

At the same time, some 24 players have matched four white numbers and the Powerball to win the game’s third-tier prize. While most of them will take home $50,000 each, seven will take home $100,000 each instead thanks to Power Play.

In the meantime, the game’s jackpot continued to grow, reaching $360 million for tonight’s drawing. The cash option associated with this prize is $163.8 million, promising a huge payout to a future winner, regardless of whether they pick the annuity or the lump sum.

Powerball Awarded Seven-Figure Prizes to Even More Players

In other news, a Powerball player in Pennsylvania just won a $1 million Match 5 prize from the game. The same drawing also awarded a $2 million Match 5 + Power Play prize to a lucky player in Florida.

The aforementioned Powerball Match 5 prizes came shortly after a lucky player in California won a Match 5 prize from the game. This followed a similar win in the same state that happened earlier this month. However, due to California’s lottery rules, both players will likely receive sums different than the usual $1 million.

The Powerball jackpot has been won five times in 2026. With that in mind, players are eagerly anticipating the coming of the next top prize.
