Powerball Jackpot Remains Unclaimed as Prize Reaches $663M

The Monday Powerball drawing saw the game experience a slight lull following Saturday’s extremely eventful drawing. Whereas the weekend had some six players across America win seven-figure Match 5 prizes, the Monday drawing had no such wins.

Powerball Jackpot Survives Another Drawing

The Monday Powerball drawing had players competing for a $638 million jackpot with a cash option of $279.3 million. However, players lacked the foresight to match all six numbers required for the jackpot. As it turns out, participants were largely unable to guess all five white numbers in the game.

The winning numbers drawn on July 27 were 6, 26, 46, 58, and 65, plus the red Powerball 25. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 2x.

As mentioned, no one guessed all five white numbers and, as a result, no one won a Match 5 prize of $1 million (or $2 million with Power Play). There were, however, over a dozen players who matched four white numbers plus the Powerball to secure the game’s third-tier prize. Fourteen such players took home $50,000 each, while three others took home $100,000 instead, thanks to the Power Play feature.

In the meantime, the Powerball jackpot has reached $663 million with a cash value of $290.4 million. The next drawing is set to take place this Wednesday.

Six Powerball Players Won $1M Prizes

In other news, the previous Powerball drawing awarded six Match 5 prizes to players in Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Neither of them had the Power Play feature active, meaning that each of them is eligible to claim a prize of $1 million.

In other news, the UK just launched Powerball, allowing Brits to play for the same jackpot as their American peers. While tickets in the UK are more expensive, this is the first time players in the European country are able to play for an uncapped jackpot.

The Powerball jackpot has been won five times in 2026. It has yet to be seen whether the addition of the UK to the Powerball fray would result in a top prize landing in the Old World.
