Online gaming consultancy Rokker has completed its ownership of technology provider Pretty Technical by acquiring the remaining shares in the latter company. This broadens the former company’s scope, allowing it to better serve its clients.
The Merger Will Create a Stronger Business
According to the announcement, Rokker, which purchased a majority stake in Pretty Technical last year, has now wrapped up its acquisition by acquiring the remainder of shares in the latter company. Thanks to this, Rokker now has an in-house tech team that will allow it to better serve its customers.
As a result of the merger, Rokker unveiled various changes, including the departure of Rokker’s founder, Andy Rogers, as CEO. While Rogers will remain the company’s chair, the CEO seat of the combined business will be taken over by Pretty Technical CEO Emma Blaylock. Blaylock is no stranger to Rokker’s business, having previously served as its senior consultant.
Following the shift, Rokker will integrate Pretty Technical’s tech stack into its brand. The emerging business will continue to serve the global gaming, betting, lottery, sweepstakes, and prediction market sectors.
Additional leadership changes included the appointment of Pretty Technical co-founder Andre Marenke as CIO, and the appointment of Trevor Milson as CFO.
The Deal Will Benefit the Two Companies’ Clients
Rokker, which has always been all about giving its clients clarity and control, will now be backed with “significantly more capability to deliver it,” according to Rogers.
However, the two companies did not reveal the merger’s financial details.
Rogers commented on the deal further, saying that the resulting company is armed with the technology, engineering talent, and operational scale it needs to help its partners grow at pace, while sparing them the technical complexity and hassle.
Blaylock also commented on that, saying that the combination of Pretty Technical’s tech and engineering capability with Rokker’s consulting and operational strength makes the emerging company perfectly capable of tackling its clients’ business challenges.

Speaking of M&A activity, Primero Games just acquired Win Systems’ Gaming Division, including Gold Club electronic roulette and manufacturing capabilities. Earlier, the Australian powerhouse Tabcorp highlighted its planned acquisition of BetMakers Technology as a priority.
