Scientific Games Wins Lottery Game of the Year and iLottery Game of the Year at GIA

Scientific Games has won two distinctions at the Gaming Intelligence North America Awards 2026 for games created in collaboration with two US-based lotteries. The manufacturer won the Lottery Game of the Year and iLottery Game of the Year accolades.

Scientific Games Boasts Not One But Two Monumental Games in 2026

The first title distinguished at the awards was the $500,000 FRENZY instant scratch game developed jointly with the Massachusetts State Lottery and named Lottery Game of the Year. Then, there is THE GUS GAME SHOW, which was developed in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Lottery and has been distinguished as the iLottery Game of the Year at GIA.

Scientific Games Chief Player Experience Officer Matt Lynch had this to say, commenting on the accolades and the impact his company has had on shaping the lottery and iLottery spaces in the United States over the past year:

“Winning Lottery Game of the Year and iLottery Game of the Year demonstrates how collaboration can translate new ideas into strong performance in support of lottery beneficiary programs. These awards recognize the game design, player insights, and creative storytelling that we put into building games that connect with players and deliver results for lotteries.”

“We congratulate the Massachusetts State Lottery and Pennsylvania Lottery on these shared achievements. From a fresh approach to retail scratch game prize structures to a new digital stage for a beloved lottery mascot, these games show what we can accomplish together,” Lynch added.

Many Ways to Win through Scientific Games’ Award-Winning Games

The $500,000 FRENZY is a $50 scratch game, with 50 top prizes worth $500,000 each available to players. The game is designed based on the win-often philosophy, giving players reasons to come back and try their luck time and again.

There are Fast Cash instant wins worth $100, $500, and $2,000, with multipliers of up to 500x, and a 10-second chance drawing with up to 38 chances to win. The game was launched on May 12, 2026, and it has already generated more than $108 million in sales by the time Scientific Games shared the news about winning the accolade.

This is not all, though, because THE GUS GAME SHOW has been another hit, this time in Pennsylvania. The game has delivered consistent engagement and retained player interest, making it a distinct and high-impact addition to the Pennsylvania Lottery’s own lineup.
