A lucky Texan has won the Texas Two Step jackpot. While the winner visited a lottery hub to claim their winnings, they preferred to remain anonymous and did not disclose details about their plan for the money.
Another Two Step Jackpot Has Been Won
According to the announcement, the winner won the jackpot for the drawing on Monday, August 3. At the time of the drawing, the Texas Two Step jackpot stood at $1.825 million. For reference, the winning numbers drawn on that day were 4, 15, 19, and 20, plus the red Bonus Ball 22. The winner, evidently, matched all of them.
While the Texas Lottery confirmed that the winner visited the lottery HQ to claim their winnings, it emphasized that the player opted to remain anonymous. As a result, they were referred to only as a “Bremond resident.”
The lottery, however, did provide details about the shop where the winning ticket was sold, revealing it to be the CEFCO Food Store #61 at 101 Mignonette Street in Kosse. The store may be eligible to receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
For context, Texas Two Step jackpots start at $200,000 and increase with every drawing without a winner. Drawings are held on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:12 pm CT.
The Second-Biggest Two Step Jackpot Was Won in March
In other news, the second-biggest Two Step jackpot in the game’s history was won earlier this year. The jaw-dropping $2.4 million prize landed on March 5 and was second only to a $2.9 million jackpot that was won two decades ago.
