On Tuesday, January 25th, 2022 the Ajax football club announced in a recently released public statement on their official website that the highly – talented superstar attacking midfielder and native of Denmark, Christian Eriksen, is back to training with Ajax following his recent health issues.
The 22 – year – old footballer has yet to play professional football since he suffered a cardiac arrest situation in Denmark’s opening game of the European Championship versus Finland last June of 2021.
One of Denmark’s biggest star playmakers in Eriksen has begun to train once again now with the Ajax reserves squad in order for the stealthy midfielder to get back in top shape as Christian continues to seek out his new football club hopefully in the near future.
Eriksen apparently loves being back with Ajax as he played with that football club from 2008 to 2010 in his youth career as well as from 2010 to 2013 during his senior pro football career. Throughout his senior career with Ajax Christian scored 25 goals over the course of his 113 official game appearances with Ajax’s big – boy football club as he emerged as a spectacular young star of the game.
Eriksen’s contract with Inter Milan was terminated via a mutual agreement between Christian and Inter Milan’s football club last month due to the fact that he is unable to play in Italy following the attacking midfielder was fitted with an implantable cardioverter – defibrillator.
After Eriksen won 3 top – flight Eredivisie titles in Amsterdam, he decided to ink a deal with Tottenham Hotspur back in 2013 where he dominated in the English Premier League up until 2020. Then Christian signed with Inter Milan to play in the Italian Serie A League in 2020.
The coach of Ajax’s 2nd – team, John Heitinga, warmly welcomed Christian Eriksen back to Amsterdam. During an interview with the Danish broadcaster DR1 earlier this month Eriksen explained that he is attempting to play for Denmark at this year’s upcoming 2022 World Cup Tournament which will be hosted by the country of Qatar this year.

I know the people, it feels like coming home because I was here for so long,” Christian Eriksen revealed in a recently released public statement posted on the club’s website that featured pictures of Eriksen practicing at the training ground called “De Toekomst,” which is Dutch for “The Future.”
“It’s great that he can train with us,” Ajax’s second – team coach John Heitinga proclaimed. “Christian is a footballer who is an example for many of our boys, a source of inspiration for the youth.”
