Top Gun-Themed Venue Lands Prime Las Vegas Strip Spot

A new aviation-themed attraction inspired by the internationally popular Top Gun movie franchise will take flight at the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip now that Advent Allen Entertainment has acquired a high-profile parcel for development.

Paramount and Advent Allen Reveal New Top Gun Vegas Destination Plans

The company said it has acquired a 2.48-acre site along Las Vegas Boulevard, putting the future project in one of the fastest developing entertainment corridors in the city. The property, reportedly bought for $12.5 million, is near Russell Road, not far from the famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas” sign and next to large sports projects in the works, including a new baseball stadium and a planned basketball arena.

The planned venue, called Top Gun Vegas, is being developed in partnership with Paramount and will bring the long-running film franchise to life as a fully immersive, real-world experience. The developers said the venue will include themed dining, retail and interactive attractions aimed at immersing visitors in the high adrenaline world associated with the films.

A recreation of the Hard Deck bar and restaurant, a central setting from the sequel film, is expected to be one of the highlights of the site. Other features are expected to include simulation-based experiences and other aviation-themed elements, but full detailed plans have not been released yet.

Top Gun Vegas to Deliver Immersive Experience Beyond the Big Screen

Project executives said they chose the location because of its rare proximity to Harry Reid International Airport, which provides an appropriate setting for the project’s aviation theme. They noted that the energy of the Las Vegas Strip plus the nearby aviation activity would make the overall experience more authentic.

Executives with the company also said the development is a big step forward in expanding entertainment options in Las Vegas beyond traditional gambling. The project is designed to provide a premium visitor experience, focused on storytelling, interactivity and hospitality.

Paramount representatives highlighted the enduring global appeal of the Top Gun franchise, emphasizing that its themes and visuals have struck a chord with audiences for decades. They believe the Las Vegas project will offer fans a new way to experience the brand outside of the cineplex.

The new location seems to be the final home for the attraction, although earlier plans had indicated a different Las Vegas Strip location. As the development continues, more design details and updated timelines are expected to be revealed.

The move is part of a wider trend in the entertainment industry to turn big film properties into physical destinations to foster deeper engagement with audiences. If successful, Top Gun Vegas could be a standout addition to the Las Vegas Strip’s evolving mix of attractions.
