Online casino games maker and supplier Wazdan has celebrated yet another important new market debut with the recent launch of a selection of its content in Switzerland.

The studio has entered the Swiss market through a partnership with Swiss operator Swiss Casinos. The deal has seen Wazdan supply the operator’s iGaming arm, Casino Zürichsee, with access to five of the 15 online slots that it has certified in the nation.

Switzerland reorganized its online gambling space in the summer of 2019. Under the country’s revised gambling law, only its land-based casinos are allowed to provide online casino services.

Online gaming content suppliers are required to obtain certifications from local gambling regulators in order to be able to provide their products with locally licensed operators.

Founded in the 1970s, Swiss Casinos is the only wholly Swiss-owned gambling company in the country. Its online gambling unit has experienced strong growth since its launch.

Wazdan’s deal with Swiss Casinos includes the initial launch of its Infinity Hero, Magic Stars 3, Lucky Reels, Great Book of Magic Deluxe, and 9 Tigers online slots with the operator. This is the supplier’s first commercial collaboration in Switzerland since 15 of its games were certified in the nation in October 2020.

An Exciting Time

“a very exciting time” and that they are thrilled to be going live in Switzerland with an operator of “an exemplary reputation.”

He went on to say that they are very positive about this new deal and cannot wait to introduce their products to Swiss online casino aficionados.

Casino Zürichsee Casino Product Manager Stanislav Pavlocin said that Wazdan’s titles “bring something unique and exciting to the market through their combination of engaging graphics, immersive math models, and thrilling Unique and Special features.” Mr. Pavlocin added that they are very pleased to ink this deal and that they look forward to a long and successful partnership.

Switzerland is the latest important market Wazdan has entered in recent months as it looks to continuously grow its presence.

Earlier this year, the company made its first foray into the US market by launching a selection of its online casino games in New Jersey after receiving a transactional waiver from the state Division of Gaming Enforcement.

It was also not long ago when it obtained the necessary certification to provide its products in Colombia in a move that spurred its growth in the lucrative Latin American region. The company is further certified by regulators in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, and Spain.
