A $4 million guaranteed BetMGM Championship and daily tournaments is just a snippet of what to expect from this summer’s Aria Poker Classic.
The series kicks off May 27 and, just like every year, will compete with other Las Vegas summer poker traditions, including the World Series of Poker (WSOP), Wynn Summer Classic, Venetian DeepStack Championship Series, and other events around town.
Aria, a high-end MGM Resorts property on the Strip, attracts thousands of players each summer to compete for large prize pools. This year, given the schedule you’re about to view, will be no different.

Aria Poker Classic Series Highlights
Tournament poker at Aria begins with the $1,100 NLH Mystery Bounty on May 27, a tournament right off the bat that guarantees at least $250,000 in prize money to be awarded. While no-limit hold’em is the star of the show at the Aria Poker Classic, pot-limit Omaha (and other poker variants) is also featured heavily, starting with the $800 PLO event with $200,000 guaranteed on May 30.
The schedule also has H.O.R.S.E., T.O.R.S.E., 2-7 single draw, Omaha hi-lo, and limit hold’em. On June 13, the $1,100 BetMGM Pot-Limit Omaha event kicks off. That one will have at least $500,000 in the pot.
There are tournaments this summer at Aria for just about every bankroll, with buy-ins ranging from $300 to $3,500. That biggest buy-in event is the BetMGM Championship, a $4 million guaranteed no-limit hold’em competition that starts on July 1 with the first of two Day 1 starting flights. Day 2 is scheduled for July 3, and the finale will take place on the Fourth of July.
The Aria Poker Classic concludes on July 12 with an $800 No-Limit Hold’em ($100,000 guaranteed) event.
