The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) awarded two extra bracelets on the 25th day of action at Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas.
Both Event #46: $1,000 Seniors No-Limit Hold’em Championship and Event #52: $3,000 Nine Game Mix were scheduled to run an extra day but wrapped up early.
Homan Mohammadi was able to bring the $1,000 Seniors’ event to a close a day early by beating Larry Quang heads-up. Mohammadi secured himself a $660,000 win along with the bracelet.
Event #53: $1,500 Five Card Pot Limit Omaha also finished a day early despite Joey Couden and Shaun Deeb‘s epic heads-up battle that lasted almost four hours.
Couden eventually won, earning $254,470 and giving Deeb his third runner-up finish of this year’s series.
Meanwhile, Julien Sitbon came within a card’s turn of the bracelet in Event #51: $10,000 Mystery Bounty No-Limit Hold’em. He was beaten heads up by first-time bracelet winner Alex Anton, who walked away with $678,300 for his victory.
The biggest victor of the day was Eelis Parssinen, who won the Event #47: $25,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha. He had to outlast a very tough field that resulted in him facing Alex Foxen at the final table. The winner’s slip for this event was worth a massive $2,161,056.
Elsewhere at the Series, Daniel Negreanu had another big high-roller bag in the $50k PLO event, the Milly Maker prize pool approached its tenth milly, and the $10k H.O.R.S.E. field filled up with star players.
Sean Winter Pips Negreanu For Chip Lead in $25k PLO
Sean Winter leads the field of Event #55: $50,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha. His chipstack of 1,775,000 is just a little taller — less than two big blinds taller, in fact — than Daniel Negreanu‘s second-place stack of 1,750,000.
A total of 81 players entered on Day 1, but late registration on Day 2 will allow that number to tick up. For now, the current field size has generated a $3,705,000 prize pool.
David Benyamine (1,660,000) has the third-place spot in a top ten that is full of other big names like Jason Koon (1,330,000), Dylan Weisman (1,320,000), and Yuri Dzivielevski (1,275,000).
The 30 remaining high-rollers will be back for more pot limit Omaha action at 1:00 p.m. to play out Day 2 of the event. There will be late registration for the first level of Day 2.

Seven players remain in the action of Event #53: $1,500 Five Card Pot Limit Omaha after Day 2.
A total of 76 players came into the day from a field of 1,319 total entries. Among the survivors was Kamel Mokhammad, who finished the day with a significant chip lead and 11,765,000 in his stack.
The next biggest stack at the final table is Erick Mossinger‘s. The Brazilian player bagged 5,780,000 at the end of Day 2. Ravi Shankar (5,210,000) ended the day in third.
If Mokhammad were to win tomorrow, it would be his first bracelet. Whoever wins will take home $271,552 from the $1,750,973 prize pool.
The final seven will return at midday to play down to a winner.

Millionaire Maker Closes In on $10m Prize Pool After Day 1c
Another 3,121 players bought into Event #50: $1,500 Millionaire Maker on Day 1c of the event, bringing the prize pool to $9,919,080, according to the WSOPLive App.
With a guaranteed $1,000,000 first-place prize, Daniel Moran will be happy with his position. He finished Day 1c as the day’s chip leader.
Other players who found a bag include 2016 WSOP Main Event champion Qui Nguyen (200,000), 2009 WSOP Main Event champion Joe Cada (142,000), and 2024 Mystery Millions champion Malcolm Trayner (50,000).
Moran and the 779 other survivors will return at 11:00 a.m., local time on Saturday to play Day 2c.

Hallaert and Hunnichen Through To Day 3 of Milly Maker
While Day 1c of was trucking along in one part of Paris and Horseshoe Las Vegas, Day 2b of Event #50: $1,500 Millionaire Maker also got underway.
There were 625 survivors from Day 1b in the field. The day’s action trimmed that down to just 88. Among the survivors were big-name players like Kenny Hallaert (780,000), Zdenek Zizka (795,000), and Chris Hunichen (755,000).
Jhordy Sanchez finished the day with the chip lead after he bagged 2,125,000. Just behind him was Jason Wheeler with 2,000,000.
Day 3 begins on Monday, June 22, at 11:00 a.m. local time. That is when PokerNews‘s live reporting begins, and all the remaining Day 2 survivors will join a combined field for the first time.

Sheils, Konnikova, Schulman Through To Final Day of $3k 6-Max
Event #56: $3,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em saw a field of 1,150 entrants whittled down to 53 over the course of 21 blind levels.
Naseem Salem bagged a stack of 2,025,000 for the chip lead. Brandon Sheils (1,470,000) and Maria Konnikova (1,325,000) also made the top ten.
Further down the standings are Jun Obara (1,230,000), Paulina Loeliger (1,100,000), poker hall of famer Nick Schulman (875,000), and Barak Wisbrod (795,000).
The survivors will be fighting for a share of the $3,075,0500 prize pool. The second day of this two-day event will see the 53 survivors battle down to a winner, starting at 1:00 p.m. local time.

Calvin Anderson Riding High In $10k H.O.R.S.E.
Event #54: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship garnered 189 entries. Only 69 of them made Day 2, and only 11, Day 3.
The bubble broke at 29 players, so everyone who returns for Day 3 will get paid some portion of the $1,757,700 prize pool. Whoever comes first will get $413,580.
Calvin Anderson leads the final 11 with 2,200,000 in his stack. Anderson is hot off winning his sixth WSOP bracelet earlier in this series.
Other notables among the returnees tomorrow will be Chris Brewer (1,515,000), David Bach (905,000), Josh Arieh (745,000), along with two five-time WSOP bracelet winners Robert Mizrachi (640,000) and Brian Yoon (550,000).
The players will return at 1:00 p.m. local time to play down to a winner.

What to Expect on Day 26 of the 2026 WSOP
With two early bracelets awarded on Day 25 of the series, there is only one bracelet left to award on Day 26. Event #53: $1,500 Five Card Pot Limit Omaha will be back at midday local time on Saturday, June 20. The returning players will play down to a winner.
Two new events are set to kick off. Event #57: $1,000 Pot-Limit Omaha starts at midday and Event #58: $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw at 2:00 p.m. local time.
The $1,500 Millionaire Maker will be back as well for two parallel flights. Day 1d, the final Day 1 flight, kicks off nice and early at 10:00 a.m. local time, while the Day 2c flight starts an hour later at 11:00 a.m.
Everyone will be excited to see how Event #54: $10,000 H.O.R.S.E. Championship plays out. This event returns at 1:00 p.m. for some more mixed game action.
And last, but very much not least, Day 2 of Event #55: $50,000 High Roller Pot-Limit Omaha will also shuffle up and deal at 1:00 p.m. local time.
There are many big names still in the field with Sean Winter and Daniel Negreanu in the top two spots. But with three more days of play to go, it’s still anyone’s game.
