888 Regular BigFish20 Takes Down XL Autumn Mystery Mini Main for $4,596

Only a handful of XL Autumn Series numbered events remain on the schedule as the series heads into its final day online at 888. On September 28, a champion emerged from the $25 Mystery Mini Main. That champion walked away with $4,596 for their initial investment.

The Mystery Mini Main drew 2,272 entrants, surpassing the $50,000 guarantee by $1,120. That is a superb result for 888 as a sizeable overlay looked likely.

Ukraine’s “Cheks88” secured the largest prize of the tournament despite bowing out in 13th place. They secured a $5,213 prize, thanks mostly to bagging $5,009 in mystery bounties, including the $5,000 jackpot bounty.

888 XL Autumn Mystery Mini Main Final Table Results

Eight players made up the final table of this tournament, with all but one guaranteed at least a four-figure score for their efforts. “0MANC” of the United Kingdom busted in eighth for $2,787 before “SturmDrang” crashed out in seventh for $741.

“Heroblanco,” one of two Argentinians at the final table, was eliminated in sixth for $1,340, with “BKirver” of the UK seeing their deep run end in a fifth-place finish worth $2,080.

Four-handed play ended when Finland’s “Bananabluff” was relieved of their chips. Their fourth-place exit earned them $1,443. Third place and $3,144 went to Ukraine’s “kafe11071107,” which set up a one-on-one clash between 888 regular “BigFish20” and Argentina’s “Scopetovich.”

“Scopetovich” fell at the final hurdle and saw a $3,191 prize land in their 888 account. “BigFish20,” who earlier this year pulled a $50,000 bounty during the XL Spring Series Mystery Main Event, took home $4,596 plus the bragging rights associated with becoming a poker champion.

$300,000 Guaranteed Mystery Main Event Reaches Its Final Table

The $250 buy-in Mystery Main Event saw 1,283 entries, resulting in a slight overlay on the ambitious $300,000 guaranteed prize pool. Only eight of those starters have chips in front of them, and they are now guaranteed at least $2,910 from the regular prize pool plus any bounties they secure.

The largest bounty, which weighed in at $30,000, went to Ukraine’s “dkfdyulr” before they busted in 12th place. In total, they scooped $33,266, which could be the largest prize of the tournament.

“1mtm9115” of the UK holds the chip lead when the final table commences this evening. They are armed with a 72 big blind stack, while “Thaleesx” of Brazil and Costa Rica’s “AzaAzaAza” return to the fray with 51 and 40 big blinds, respectively.

“Thaleesx” is already guaranteed a massive profit regardless of how their final table pans out because they have already reeled in $21,412 worth of mystery bounty payments.
