Only seven of the 33 Micro Rollers ChampionChips Series’ numbered events have crowned their champions, but it is evident the low-stakes poker tournament festival will be a massive hit with 888poker‘s players.
Six of the seven completed events smashed through their guarantees, while the $40,000 Opening Mystery Bounty High Roller missed out by only seven $55 buy-ins. The winner of that event, “vntuan63” of Germany, turned their $55 investment into a $3,314 score.
A field of 793 entrants, consisting of 570 unique players and 223 re-entries, left the prize pool teetering on the edge of its $40,000 guarantee. Three of the mystery bounties weighed in at $1,200 or more, and it was “cringed” of Montenegro who captured the first of a pair of $1,200 payouts despite finishing in 125th place.
Thirty-fifth place finisher “Jonathannens” from Brazil captured the other $1,200 mystery bounty payment.
The jackpot mystery bounty tipped the scales at an impressive $4,000, more than first place awarded. Argentina’s “wilkpo12” opened the golden envelope containing this huge payout. They eventually busted in seventh and secured a tournament-leading $4,584 payment.

Uzbekistan isn’t the first country you reply with when asked about online poker powerhouses, but “PokerKron” helped put the country on the poker map with an impressive eighth-place finish in this tournament. “PokerKron” banked $617 and was the only finalist not to walk away with over $1,000.
“wilkpo12” and “playurbet” fell in seventh and sixth, scooping $4,584 and $1,478, respectively. “wilkpo12” had $4,072 worth of mystery bounties land in their 888poker account, hence the huge disparity in the awarded prize money.

Brazilian duo “pre.Tu.ras” and “__Pi__” were the next players to leave, with hauls of $1,182 and $1,495 to show for their efforts.
Heads-up was set when “Ogame22” fell in third for $1,769 from their Mexican home.
“vntuan63” and 888poker regular “kiskutya23” locked horns and butted heads in the one-on-one decider. “kiskutya23” has pulled $905 from various mystery bounty envelopes but would not add to that haul because their tournament ended in a second-place finish worth a combined $3,163. “vntuan63” saw their 888poker account balance swell by $3,314, giving them ample ammunition for the rest of the Micro Rollers ChampionChips series.

“vntuan63” was one of seven winners over the opening couple of days of the Micro Rollers ChampionChips Series at 888poker. Although “Lindabay” turned $11 into $2,156, the second-largest prize awarded so far, we have to give a special mention to “luckytimber,” who’s $348 return from a $2.20 investment represents more than 158 buy-ins won!
