Those who regularly tune into 888poker’s Twitch channel to watch the $100,000 Mystery Bounty Main Event final table action will be used to seeing 888poker-sponsored Nick Eastwood and Aaron Barone in the commentary booth. However, Eastwood was on his own this week due to Barone navigating his way to the $100,000 RAKELESS Mystery Bounty Main Event final table.
Day 1, which ran on June 21, saw the 812 starters reduced to the final table of eight. At the top of the final table chip counts was Canada’s “abarone68,” the 888poker alias of Aaron Barone.
Barone’s stack contained 108 big blinds, 26 more than “ZaCafu” in second place. These two deep-stacked players would ultimately advance to the heads-up stage.

“derek_eekk” was the first finalist to bow out. “GoGoUkraine” min-raised with pocket sevens, “nzlegal” three-bet from the next seat along with pocket aces, and “derek_eekk” four-bet jammed for 15 big blinds with ace-king when the action folded back to them. “nzlegal” ducked out of the way, but “nzlegal” instantly called and won the pot on a jack-high board.
The United Kingdom’s “Jonr84” was the next to fall. Surprisingly, the British grinder didn’t pick up a single bounty before they crashed out in seventh. They took home exactly $1,000 for their efforts.
The rest of the players at the final table were eliminated over the next 90 minutes. “GoGoUkraine” busted in sixth for $3,033, “p0gchamp” fell in fifth for $2,034, before “nzlegal” was dispatched in fourth for a $3,413 score.

Heads-up was reached when “Kabb0” three-bet all-in for 22 big blinds with ace-five in the big blind after “ZaCafu” opened from the small blind. “ZaCafu” quickly called with pocket tens. Those tens held, and “ZaCafu” and Barone got set to lock horns heads-up.
Barone held a narrow 63.3 big blind to 58.5 big blind advantage over his final opponent at the start of heads-up. The one-on-one battle lasted around an hour. Initially, neither player managed to pull away, but then things started to go Barone’s way.
By the time the final hand rolled around, Barone had 42.1 big blinds to his opponent’s 18.5. “ZaCafu” moved all-in from the button with ace-four and Barone looked him up with pocket nines. “ZaCafu” flopped an ace and added a gutshot straight draw on the turn. However, Lady Luck was shining down on Barone, and a nine landed on the river, busting “ZaCafu” and second place and locking in the victory of the 888poker Stream Team hero.
