Artem Osmirko Takes Down the $10K GGMillion$ High Roller for $303K

Online poker’s biggest weekly tournament has crowned its champion, and Russia’s Artem Osmirko is the man to whom that title is bestowed. The $10,000 buy-in GGMillion$ High Roller saw 144 entrants create a $1,396,800 prize pool, and Osmirko laid claim to the $303,531 top prize, plus a $10,000 package for the GGMillion$ live at the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Paradise.

The top 15 finishers won a slice of the prize pool, with Aleksejs Ponakovs being the first in-the-money finisher. Ponakovs bowed out in 15th place and scooped $23,279, bringing his GGMillion$ earnings ever closer to $7.6 million.

Thomas Muehloecker (12th – $26,097) also cashed, with Tobias Eichenseher popping the final table bubble with his 10th place finish worth $32,789.

The nine-handed final table commenced under the watchful eyes of the live stream host Jeff Gross and special guest Denys Chufarin in the commentary booth.

Guillaume Nolet was the short stack at the start of the final table, and was down to only three big blinds when he was eliminated. Nolet open-shoved from late position with king-nine and lost to “leng321,” who called from the big blind with eight-five, and flopped two pair after Osmirko called with ace-deuce of spades in the small blind.

Eighth place went to Brunno Botteon, who was also a short stack at the time of his exit. Botteon moved all-in for 10 big blinds in the cutoff with ace-eight of spades. Osmirko looked him up with pocket jacks on the button. Botteon paired his ace, but the board four-flushed with hearts, and Osmirko held the jack of hearts, which sent Botteon to the sidelines.

Another Brazilian, “Lucky-Nomad,” fell in seventh. The $68,860 they collected was their first GGMillion$ cash. They lost most of their stack getting a little frisky and raising all-in on the river of a four-straight board against “leng321.” Their opponent didn’t have a straight but called with a set of sevens, to leave “Lucky-Nomad” nursing a 14 big blind stack.

“Lucky-Nomad” busted a few hands later with ace-king versus Simon Beckmann‘s king-seven of clubs when the Brazilian flopped an ace, but Beckmann flopped two pair.

The final five-figure payout went to Aleksei Borovkov, who crashed out in sixth immediately after “Lucky-Nomad” busted. Borovkov moved all-in for less than 10 big blinds with pocket nines, and Paul Hong made one of the easier calls of his career with pocket kings. Hong flopped top set, and Borovkov was drawing dead on the turn.

Beckmann was the chip leader at the start of five-handed play, yet he was the next player heading for the exits. First, he bluffed at a pot with five-high on a board showing three diamonds and a possible straight. Unfortunately for Beckmann, Hong had improved to a straight on the river. He then lost with ace-deuce against Vlada “Vlada2018” Stojanovic‘s ace-eight in a battle of the blinds, which saw his stack plummet to around 16 big blinds.

After finding pocket threes in the small blind, Beckmann three-bet all-in over a Hong min-raise. Stojanovic woke up with ace-queen in the big blind and four-bet shoved, folding out Hong. An ace on the flop proved enough to complete Beckmann’s demise from hero to zero.

A battle of the blinds immediately after Beckmann’s elimination further reduced the player count. Osmirko raised with nine-six in the small blind, “leng321” Called with queen-four of hearts in the big blind, and the flop fell queen-ten-six. Osmirko continued and was called. Another six on the turn improved Osmirko to trip sixed, and with “leng321” only having slightly more than a pot-sized bet behind, the chips were destined to go in.

That’s precisely what happened when Osmirko check-raised enough to put “leng321” at risk, and “leng321” called. No two outer on the river for “leng321” and the GGMillion$ was down to only three players.

Those three became two with Stojanovic running out of steam. Twenty minutes into three-handed play, Osmirko raised with pocket jacks, Stojanovic three-bet with ace-ten, and then called off the 22 big blinds he had behind, and Osmirko ripped it in. Osmirko flopped a set with Stojanovic pairing his ten. A third heart on the turn gave Stojanovic more outs to a flush, but the river bricked, and heads-up was set.

That hand gave Osmirko an 11,694,774 to 3,514,226 chip lead over Hong, but the one-on-one clash wouldn’t be as one-sided as the chip counts would suggest.

Hong drew level before forging a lead for himself, but Osmirko began winning more pots, and was in a dominant position by the time the final hand was dealt, leading 13 million to 2 million.

In the final hand, Hong limped with pocket nines, Osmirko jammed with ace-seven, and Hong called all-in for around 12 big blinds. Hong flopped a set on a ten-nine-jack board, but an eight on the turn gifted Osmirko an unlikely jack-high straight. A king on the river didn’t alter the hand, so Hong busted in second place for $237,045, leaving Osmirko to get his hands on his first GGMillion$ title and $303,531 in prize money.

Osmirko’s victory was impressive, but he still has some way to go before he finds himself challenging for a place in the GGMillion$ all-time ranking top 10.

Russian superstars Artur Martirosian excels in this tournament. He has the most in-the-money finishes (95), the most final table appearances (50), and the most outright victories (13). Unsurprisingly, Martirosian’s $11,137,437 in GGMillion$ earnings also top the charts.
