We’re just one week into the Victorian Poker Championship, and the stars are already out in force.
While Joe Hachem may have ultimately been unsuccessful in the Celebrity Event to kick off the festival, he came back with a bang to secure victory in Event #9: A$1,250 Limit Omaha Hi-Lo for only the seventh victory of his long career.
He defeated Chi Troung heads-up, topping a 48-player field to take home A$16,000, at a final table that also featured Billy “The Croc” Argyros
Hachem still sits third on the Australian All-Time Money List behind Kahle Burns and Michael Addamo.
