Fans of fast-paced poker have another reason to jump into the action at 888poker this month, with the return of the popular BLAST Cashback promotion.
Running from August 19-25, 2026, the promotion rewards eligible players with up to 50% cashback based on the total fees they generate while playing BLAST tournaments during the seven-day campaign.
What Are BLAST Tournaments?
BLAST tournaments are 888poker’s take on the popular jackpot sit-and-go format, where prize pools are randomly selected before play begins. While most games feature multipliers of 2x or 3x the buy-in, players can occasionally find themselves competing for prizes worth as much as 10,000 times their original buy-in.
During the promotion period, the amount of cashback players receive depends on how much they contribute in BLAST fees over the course of the week.

Players must generate at least $5 in weekly BLAST fees to qualify, while total cashback is capped at $500. Rewards are paid directly as cash within 72 hours of the promotion ending.
It’s also worth noting that BLAST tournaments with buy-ins of $50 or more are not included in the promotion.
Each tournament features three players and begins as soon as all seats are filled. Before the first hand is dealt, a random multiplier determines the prize pool, creating the possibility of turning a relatively small buy-in into a substantial payday.
The fast structure is one of BLAST’s biggest attractions. Blind levels increase rapidly, meaning most tournaments are completed within minutes rather than hours.

888poker Ontario saw player “Starplayer50” bank $140,000 after navigating a $200,000 BLAST jackpot. The other two finalists also secured substantial payouts of $40,000 and $20,000.
