Grosvenor Poker Shares Full Schedule for GUKPT Luton

GUKPT Luton

The Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is heading back to Bedfordshire for the sixth stop of its landmark 20th season, with GUKPT Luton running from August 30 to September 8 at the Grosvenor G Casino Luton.

The tour has wasted little time returning to one of its most popular destinations. Players were only in Luton back in May, where GUKPT regular Yucel Eminoglu came out on top in the £1,250 Main Event. The “Mad Turk” overcame a field of 190 entries to claim the title and £57,640 from the £236,250 prize pool.

This time around, players can once again battle for six-figure guarantees in both the £250 Mini Main and the £560 Main Event, while a packed schedule also includes a £1,000 High Roller, £200 Turbo, £150 Deepstack, and the returning GUKPT Cup.

The festival begins on August 30 with the final flight of the £200 Summer Sizzler South, before attention quickly turns to the £100,000 guaranteed Mini Main.

Mini Main Kicks Off the Festival

The Mini Main features four starting flights spread across three days, beginning with Day 1a on August 30 at 6 p.m.

Players have three regular flights and a turbo option available before Day 2 gets underway on September 1, with a champion set to be crowned the following day.

The £100,000 guarantee proved popular during the May stop, and organisers will be hoping for another strong turnout as players make their second trip to Luton in 2026.

Main Event Offers £150,000 Guarantee

The headline event of the festival is the £560 GUKPT Luton Main Event, which boasts a £150,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Day 1a starts on September 3, while players who cannot make the opening flight have two more opportunities to join the action through Day 1b and a Day 1c turbo.

The surviving players will return for Day 2 on September 5, before the tournament reaches its conclusion the following afternoon.

Elsewhere on the schedule, the £1,000 High Roller carries a £50,000 guarantee, while the £340 GUKPT Cup and £200 Last Chance provide additional opportunities for players chasing a title before the festival comes to an end.

As always, players can also win their way into some of the biggest events through a series of Must-Play Cashout satellites, with seats available for both the High Roller and Main Event throughout the week.

Eminoglu may have stole the headlines when the GUKPT was last in Luton. However, he wasn’t the only player to leave Bedfordshire with a five-figure score.

Ajay Kejriwal collected £31,060 after winning the £1,650 High Roller, while Derek Boyle topped a 498-entry Mini Main to take home £26,775.

One of the most impressive performances of the festival belonged to Craig Sarginson, who completed a Pot-Limit Omaha double. He first won the £250 PLO 4 Card for £4,710 before adding another £19,000 by taking down the £1,100 PLO High Roller.
