Man Wins $3.3 Million on Slots While Killing Time at Las Vegas Airport

One lucky gambler may have just hit one of the most legendary slots scores of the year in Vegas, and perhaps not in the most likely of locations.

Identified on X by popular slots account @TheBigJackpot as Anthony, the man made the multimillion-dollar pull at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, winning a total of $3,307,158.11 on June 28.

The account wrote that Anthony was simply ‘killing time in C Gates’ when he hit the incredible score, landing the jackpot bonus on the Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Red Hot 7s slot game while he waited for his flight.

After turning a $10 spin into a win of more than $3.3 million, one has to wonder whether Anthony ever caught his flight out of the domestic gates at Harry Reid, or whether he simply headed back into town for a proper celebration instead.

“Now That’s One Way to Spend a Layover”

Writing on social media platform X, the official Harry Reid International Airport account wrote, “Now that’s one way to spend a layover. Congratulations to a lucky traveler who hit a $3.3 million jackpot on the Wheel of Fortune slot machine over the weekend in C Gates at LAS Airport.”

The post continued, “Congratulations on your incredible win, and thanks for making LAS [Vegas’ airport code] part of your lucky journey!”

While Harry Reid International Airport is no stranger to minting new millionaires, airport slots are, at least anecdotally, often considered to be tighter than jackpot slot machines located on or near the Las Vegas Strip.

Still, for Anthony, that proved not to be the case, as the fortunate traveler takes home a multi-million score, even after the tax man has had his piece of the pie.
