Latest figures published by industry body iGaming Ontario, show an increase across the board for online casino play in ON, Canada.
The report, which was released this past Wednesday, Jan 17, shows that:
- Gaming revenue increased by 22% from the previous quarter.
- This equates to $658m in the period between October and December 2023 (this includes rake fees, tournament fees, and other costs).
- Cash wagers totaled $17.2bn, a quarterly increase of 21%.
- ON had 1.2m active players in the same period, playing with 49 operators, and across 72 casino and gaming websites.
