Over $4 Million Guaranteed at the 2026 Borgata Fall Poker Open

The Borgata Fall Poker Open is back this November, bringing two weeks of tournament poker to Atlantic City with more than $4 million in guaranteed prize pools up for grabs.

Running from November 4-17 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, the festival has something for just about every type of poker player at the BetMGM property. There are affordable multi-flight tournaments, a $2,700 Championship Event, plenty of mixed games and a series of side events for players looking to get involved without committing to a multi-day grind.

Three of the festival’s biggest tournaments each carry guarantees of at least $500,000, while the popular Chainsaw Mixed Series returns for those who prefer their poker beyond No-Limit Hold’em.

There’s also the Bar Poker Open, which gives newcomers and returning players a chance to experience tournament poker in a casino setting, alongside a packed schedule of qualifiers for those hoping to turn a smaller investment into a shot at one of the festival’s biggest prizes.

Three Huge Events Headline the Fall Poker Open

The festival wastes little time getting down to business, with the $600 Fall Deepstack Kick Off opening proceedings on November 4. Featuring a $1 million guarantee, the tournament offers six starting flights across November 4-6 before surviving players return for Day 2 on November 7. A champion will be crowned on November 8.

Another major attraction is the $350 Mini-Main Event, which carries a $500,000 guarantee and offers players plenty of opportunities to qualify for Day 2.

There are 17 starting flights scheduled between November 4 and November 16, with players permitted just one re-entry per flight. Those who successfully bag chips will already be in the money, with the remaining field returning on November 17 to play down to a winner.

The $600 Fall Half-a-Milly Almighty provides another chance to compete for a substantial prize pool. Six starting flights take place from November 9-11, with the final two days scheduled for November 12 and 13.

$2,700 Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship

The biggest buy-in on the live tournament schedule belongs to the $2,700 Borgata Fall Poker Open Championship, which gets underway on November 13.

With $1 million guaranteed, the Championship features two starting flights on November 13 and 14, giving players two opportunities to build a stack before the field combines on November 15.

Registration closes after Level 8, with no Day 2 registration available. The tournament will then play through November 17, with featured-table coverage on Day 3 and a live-streamed final table on Day 4.

Chainsaw Mixed Series Gives Players Plenty of Variety

No-Limit Hold’em might dominate most tournament schedules, but Borgata is also making room for players who enjoy mixing things up.

The Chainsaw Mixed Series of Poker — the brainchild of Allen “Chainsaw” Kessler — features 11 events across a range of formats, including Omaha Hi-Lo, Stud Hi-Lo, H.O.R.S.E., T.O.R.S.E., Big O and several other mixed-game variants.

Two championships stand out on the schedule. The $1,100 H.O.R.S.E. Championship begins November 5 with $25,000 guaranteed, while the $1,100 T.O.R.S.E. Championship starts November 12 and features a $35,000 guarantee.

There is also a $600 Chainsaw’s 8 Game Mix on November 13 and a $600 Triple-Triple Draw tournament on November 14, featuring Ace-to-Five, Deuce-to-Seven and Badugi.

All events contribute to the Player of the Series leaderboard, with custom Chainsaw trophies also on offer.

Bar Poker Open Welcomes New and Returning Players

For anyone who’s spent years playing poker for nickels and dimes around the kitchen table, the Bar Poker Open offers a chance to try their hand at tournament poker in a proper casino setting.

It’s also a good way for players returning to the game after some time away to get back into competitive poker without committing to one of the festival’s bigger buy-ins.

Running from November 12-16, the Bar Poker Open features several tournaments open to the public, with buy-ins starting at $180. Highlights include the $200 Welcome Monster Stack Turbo, the $180 Friday Night Bar Poker Frenzy and the $200 Super Deep Semi-Turbo, with guarantees ranging from $5,000 to $10,000.

There’s also an invitation-only Bar Poker Open Championship, which concludes with a live-streamed final table on November 16.

Qualify for the Biggest Events at a Fraction of the Price

Players don’t necessarily need to put up the full buy-in to compete in one of the Borgata Fall Poker Open’s headline tournaments.

A series of milestone qualifiers offers routes into several of the festival’s biggest events, including the $2,700 Championship, $600 Fall Deepstack Kick Off and $350 Mini-Main.

The qualifiers begin on November 4 with the $475 Borgata Big 4 Milestone Qualifier, where one in ten players will win a four-seat package covering Events #1, #3, #12 and #22.

November 8 is particularly important for Championship hopefuls, with four satellites offering seats to the $2,700 event. Buy-ins range from $180 to $600, with the latter awarding a seat to one in every five entrants.

Additional Championship qualifiers take place on November 12 and 13, giving players further opportunities to secure their seats before the tournament begins.

BetMGM Poker Adds Online Action

Players won’t have to be at Borgata to take part in every tournament, with BetMGM Poker also hosting a selection of online events during the festival.

The $100 Fall Poker Nightly C-Note runs every evening from November 4-17 at 6:30 p.m., offering a $30,000 guarantee each night.

On November 8, the $500 BetMGM Fall Poker Hybrid Championship features a $100,000 guarantee. The event begins online before moving to a live-streamed final table at Borgata on November 13.

Two more online tournaments take place on November 15, with a $250 Sunday Main Event carrying a $75,000 guarantee and a $500 High Roller offering $55,000 guaranteed.
