The 2023 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) on PokerStars continues to roll on, and the big scores keep on coming for the platform’s ambassadors.
PokerStars’ Sebastian “peaceandloove” Huber picked up the biggest score of his career after turning $55 into a $76,066 payday. The Twitch streamer satellited into SCOOP 79-H: $5,200 High Roller and put in a huge run before bowing out in third place after a sick beat.

The High Roller had 112 entries and saw the prize pool swell to $560,000, smashing the $400,000 guarantee.
Career High Score for Huber
The first final table casualty came on the third hand of play where “hello_totti” ran their ace-king into pocket kings held by “Stumpfed” to give everyone a pay jump. Soon after, “P0KERPR02.0” headed to the wrong side of the rail after losing a flip to “ArtHouse2011” to bring the event to its final seven players.
Huber then found a double-up with ace-king through “Stumpfed”, who called the all in with a weaker ace.
Renan “Internett93o” Bruschi then jammed on the short-stacked Ognyan “cocojamb0” Dimov from the small blind with six-three and the latter called off his tournament life with king-ten. Bruschi paired his three on-the-flop and rivered trips to seal the elimination.
After a few more hands played out, “Stumpfed” moved all in from the small blind with jack-nine and was snapped by Bruschi from the big blind with ace-king. Bruschi would go on to make a royal flush to leave “Stumpfed” as the short stack. The next hand, Huber finished “Stumpfed” off after his pocket eights held against his opponent’s ace-ten.
Patrick “Pads1161” Leonard then bagged the fifth-pace prize of $44,383, just a day after picking up his seventh SCOOP title and $200,000. Back-to-back victories eluded Leonard as he was dominated by “ArtHouse2011” and couldn’t find the three-outer to double up.
At four-handed play, there were hints of a deal being made, but Bruschi declined that, despite being the short stack. That decision paid off hugely as “ArtHouse2011” completed the double bust out of Huber and Alexandros “Pwndidi” Theologis in dramatic fashion.
“ArtHouse2011”, the chip leader, shipped his stack in from the button with queen-ten. Theologis and Huber, who held pocket eights and queens respectively, called off their stacks from the blinds. “ArtHouse2011” paired his ten on the flop and then found another ten on the river to send out both players.
Then on the final hand of the night, Bruschi moved in with ace-six and his opponent called with king-queen. Bruschi made a pair of sixes on the flop but “ArtHouse2011” spiked a queen on the river to lock up the win.

All Eyes on Conclusion of Super Tuesday
Day 1 for the low, medium and high tiers for SCOOP 86 – Super Tuesday all played out yesterday, with the events playing down to a winner today.
In the low edition of the tournament, which had a $109 buy-in, PokerStars ambassador Georgina “GJReggie” James sits in 40th place out of the 100 players remaining where $59,210 awaits the winner. The tournament saw 4,156 entries, creating a $414,600 prize pool. “razvi_audi” currently holds the chip lead, with notable names such as Benny “RunGodlike” Glaser and Lucio “WizardOfAz” Lima still in contention.
Huber also has another chance of a big score in the medium tier of Super Tuesday. The $1,050 buy-in event has 28 players remaining, with Huber currently sitting at the bottom of the pile. He’s already locked up a cash of at least $4,386, but of course, all eyes will be on the $118,828 that awaits the winner.
The high instalment of the Super Tuesday events came with a $10,300 buy-in and a $600,000 guarantee. The prize pool now stands at $870,000 thanks to the 87 entries, with just nine remaining. And as expected with a High Roller, the final table is littered with star names.
A huge $207,901 is set aside for the champion, and you can see how that event unfolds on the PokerStars Twitch Channel, with cards-up coverage from 6 p.m. BST.
