RunGood Takes Their Road Trip to Horseshoe Iowa From Nov. 14-19

The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) Road Trip is in the home stretch with a stop at Horseshoe Iowa in Council Bluffs from November 14-19.

The series will feature a $200 Opening Night Ambassador Bounty Ring Event, a $400 DeepStack with two opening flights, and a $50,000 guarantee, and a $700 Main Event where players will battle it out for a guarantee of $200,000.

The last time RGPS visited Iowa was in May of this year when Joshua Kopp beat a field of 605 players to win the $700 Main Event for $68,799 from a prize pool of $363,000.

This latest trip to the Hawkeye State is in the final stretch of events in the Road Trip season with only stops at Jamul Casino in San Diego and at Thunder Valley remaining on the schedule. Brian Winter has a strong grip on the overall points lead after winning a handful of rings throughout the season.

Throughout the Road Trip series, Main Event players will also compete for a spot in the Dream Seat Invitational at Thunder Valley Resort in November. The winner of the Dream Seat Invitational will be entered into the invitation-only PokerGO Tour Championship in December where they will battle it out with the game’s top players for a $1,000,000 prize pool.

The Rundown

The series will start on Tuesday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. with the $250 Seniors Ring Event for players over 50. Later in the day, the $200 Series Opener kicks off at 1 p.m. before the $200 Opening Night Ambassador Bounty Ring Event gets underway at 7 p.m. The popular event will feature bounty envelopes with a chance at $1,000 cash or RunGood Apparel store credit.

The $400 DeepStack will have two opening flights on Wednesday, Nov. 15 at 12 p.m. and 6 p.m., and all surviving players return on Thursday at noon for a shot at the $50,000 guarantee. Players can satellite into the DeepStack at 10 a.m. with a $100 shot where one of five players will claim a seat. Wednesday will also feature a $135 Bankroll Builder at 2 p.m. where one in ten players wins $1,000 cash.

Thursday is a mixed bag with the $300 Omaha 8 Ring Event at 10 a.m. before the $300 One Day NLH Ring Event starts at 1 p.m. Players that stick around for the evening can jump into the $250 Double Green Chip Bounty Ring Event at 6 p.m.

The $700 Main Event starts on Friday, Nov. 17 with the opening flight at 6 p.m. The 10 a.m. satellite is a chance to get in for $175 and there’s another chance at 2 p.m. Non-Main Event players have a shot at a ring in the $500 PLO Ring Event at 12 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 18 will open with a $175 Main Event Satellite at 10 a.m. before the two remaining flights of the Main Event start at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. All surviving players from the Main Event will return on Sunday at 12 p.m. to play for the $200,000 guarantee.

Sunday will also feature a $200 Turbo NLH Ring Event at 10 a.m. and a $400 Black Chip Bounty Ring Event at 1 p.m. The series will wrap up at 5 p.m. with the $200 Closer NLH Ring Event.
