One of the biggest coolers of the 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event took place on Day 4, leading one player to triple up his stack as he cracked aces and a worse full house.
The hand saw 2024 Main Event runner-up Jordan Griff being dealt aces, but it ended up being the third-best hand after a flop that was a dream for Jeremy Moore and a nightmare for actress and longtime poker player Farah Galfond.

Aces Third Best in WSOP Main Event
The hand took place on a streamed feature table during Level 18 with blinds of 6,000/12,000/12,000. The stream picked up the action on a flop of J♥9♥3♠, with Moore all in for 315,000 and Galfond also all in with a stack of 461,000. Griff had both players covered but was drawing thin.

The sickening hand saw Moore with top set to crush the middle set of Galfond. Griff, meanwhile, was looking for one of two aces left in the deck as he attempted to over-set both opponents.
“This is insane,” said one of the commentators.
The 6♣ turn didn’t change anything, and the 3♦ river only improved Moore to a full house as he tripled up his stack to over seven figures.
Moore celebrated the triple up in peculiar fashion. He dropped to the floor and started doing push-ups as the the dealer counted down his stack.

Griff was out not long after Galfond, finishing in 734th place for $25,000. Moore, meanwhile, is still kicking during the final level of the evening.
