The popular 2024 Wynn Millions Poker Series wrapped up early this month after dozens of events that smashed the $8 million in series guarantees.

The series, which ran Feb. 19-March 24, had no shortage of highlights, including Neel Murthy shipping the $3,500 Wynn Millions Championship for $502,856, as well as Adrian Lopez winning the Mystery Bounty event and Landon Tice picking up his first live tournament victory since 2020.

Here’s a look at some of the other standout moments from the Wynn Millions series.

Erik Seidel Beats Alex Foxen in $10,500 NLH High Roller

Erik Seidel won his tenth bracelet last December in a WSOP Paradise Super High Roller. The Poker Hall of Famer continued his dominance of the high roller scene in $10,500 NLH High Roller, where he defeated Alex Foxen during heads-up play.

The final table also featured reigning Player of the Year Bin Weng (9th – $26,000), Victoria Livshitz (7th – $36,400) and Eric Baldwin, (5th – $59,600), who picked up a trophy earlier in the series.

Eric Baldwin Wins Wynn Millions $600 NLH

One of the early big scores in the 2024 Wynn Millions series went to a familiar face in Eric Baldwin, who topped a field of 1,085 runners in a $600 No Limit Hold’em event for $96,909 as the Vegas-based grinder added to his $8.4 million in live earnings.

The final table included fellow Vegas-based players Jay Fredricksen (8th – $12,772) and Aaron Massey (3rd – $48,713), as well as North Carolina’s Paul Taylor, who finished runner-up for $63,335.

Cherish Andrews Is Going for GPI Player of the Year

Few players had a stronger series than Cherish Andrews, who took down the $2,200 NLH 6 Max event for $182,927 after defeating a final table that included runner-up Timothy Chang ($119,677) and PokerNews Podcast co-host Mike Holtz (4th – $73,106).

The 2022 GPI Female Player of the Year picked up another six-figure score later in the series as she finished third in the Mystery Bounty event for $101,650. Andrews caught up with PokerNews at the Wynn and she said she is not trying to defend her Female POY title, but instead has her sights set on overall POY.

Jesse Lonis Beats Rampage Poker in $10,500 NLH High Roller

Rising poker star Jesse Lonis earned his latest high-stakes victory in a $10,500 NLH High Roller for $193,140 that had a final table featuring Adam Hendrix (7th – $27,260), Jeremy Ausmus (6th – $36,250) and James Collopy (4th – $63,800).

But it was star poker vlogger Ethan “Rampage” Yau who found himself heads-up against Lonis before falling in second place for $123,250.

Later in the series, John Riordan took down the $3,000 PLO 6 Max $200K GTD event for $76,695.

Riordan bested Brazil’s Joao Simao during heads-up play at a stacked final table that included 2023 GPI Mid-Major Player of the Year Nick Pupillo (3rd – $33,476), Frank Brannan (7th – $11,503) and Jordan Spurlin (9th – $8,014).
