For more than 25 years, the Inspiring Children Foundation has worked to transform the lives of young people facing anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation and other serious challenges. Its programs combine mental-health support with education, leadership development, nutrition, athletics and meaningful community connections.

“Poker is a game of resilience, discipline and learning how to make good decisions under pressure—many of the same skills we work to develop in our young people every day.”

“Poker is a game of resilience, discipline and learning how to make good decisions under pressure—many of the same skills we work to develop in our young people every day,” said Trent Alenik, CEO of the Inspiring Children Foundation. “All In for Mental Health gives people the chance to enjoy an extraordinary night at Wynn while helping provide young people with the tools, relationships and opportunities they need to transform their lives.”

Alenik has a personal connection to that mission. He entered the Inspiring Children Foundation as one of its earliest students at age 14, later earning a tennis scholarship to Villanova University. After graduating, he returned to Las Vegas and progressed from volunteer to manager, executive director, and ultimately CEO.

Co-founder Marty Hennessy, whose commitment to mentoring young people helped establish the foundation’s early work, said the event reflects the power of a community rallying around its youth.

“When people come together with open hearts, we can change the direction of a young person’s life,” Hennessy said. “This tournament is about much more than the cards or the prizes. It is about showing young people that they matter, that their community believes in them and that a brighter future is possible.”

Sponsors for the upcoming charity event include Coco Love, Stitched, Wynn, and the World Poker Tour (WPT).
