Ryan Leng became a three time WSOP champion when he emerged victorious in Event #23: $1,500 Eight Game Mix 6-Handed There was also a bracelet for Michael Prendergast who won Event #24: $600 Pot-Limit Omaha Deepstack (8-Handed). ACR’s Vanessa Kade, GGPoker’s Daniel Negreanu and chip leader John Racener are ones to watch in Event #25: $5,000 6-Handed No-Limit Hold’em. Five players remain in Event #22: $10,00 LADIES No-Limit Hold’em Championship – Mikiyo Aoki, Debora Brooke, Diane Cooley, Lara Eisenberg and JJ Liu. In Event #26: $1,000 Freezeout No-Limit Hold’em, only 38 players remain, including chip lead Levi Klump, recent bracelet winner Peter Chen, and Maurice Hawkins who has a record 14 WSOP circuit rings. Elsewhere, Phil Hellmuth and mixed game specialist Adam Owen made it through day 1 of Event #27: $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. Mark Dickstein took the end of day chip lead with 300,000 in chips. Two more events have been added to the schedule – the $1,000 Pot Limit Omaha 8-handed and the $10,000 Short Deck No-Limit Hold’em event.
