King’s Million EPC Brings €5M Super Main Event to Rozvadov

There is more than €10 million guaranteed at King’s Resort this September, and the lion’s share of that money will be up for grabs during the debuting King’s Million European Poker Championship (EPC).

Running from September 16 through October 6, the festival fills a familiar space in the Rozvadov calendar. For years, the autumn period at King’s was dominated by the World Series of Poker Europe, but that changed in 2026 when the series moved to Prague and, for the first time in more than a decade, switched from its traditional fall dates to the spring.

With WSOPE no longer occupying its usual place in the Rozvadov calendar, King’s has gone big to fill the gap.

The King’s Million EPC boasts millions in guarantees across three weeks of action, including a €1 million Mini Main Event, €1.5 million Mystery Bounty, €1 million Monsterstack and the headline €5 million guaranteed Super Main Event.

And PokerNews will be there for much of it, with live reporting from ten tournaments throughout the festival.

€5 Million Guaranteed in King’s Million EPC Super Main Event

The €1,150 King’s Million European Poker Championship Super Main Event runs from September 30 through October 6 and comes with a massive €5 million guarantee.

Players have no shortage of ways to reach Day 2, with seven traditional starting flights running through October 4 alongside a Flip and Go Pineapple option. Day 2 gets underway later that same day, before the field is whittled down across three more days and a champion is crowned on October 6.

King’s has also spread plenty of seven-figure guarantees throughout the festival rather than saving everything for its finale.

It starts with the €250 EPC Mini Main Event, which opens the festival on September 16 and carries a huge €1 million guarantee despite its relatively modest buy-in.

Seven regular starting flights, a Prague flight and a Flip and Go Pineapple option are available before Day 2 on September 20, with the winner decided the following day.

Next comes the €400 Deepstack, featuring €300,000 guaranteed, before the stakes increase again with the €1,000 Mystery Bounty. That tournament runs from September 23-28 and guarantees €1.5 million.

PLO Players Get Their Own European Championship

King’s has long been one of Europe’s busiest destinations for Pot-Limit Omaha, and there is plenty on the schedule for four-card fans.

The €1,500 European Poker Championship PLO runs September 24-26 with €500,000 guaranteed, followed immediately by the €3,000 PLO High Roller on September 27-28, which comes with another €500,000 guarantee.

Those are joined by several smaller PLO tournaments throughout the festival, including the PLO Bounty, PLO Warm Up, PLO Little Masters, PLO Cooler and €500 PLO Bounty Hunter.

Hold’em players then get another shot at a seven-figure prize pool in the €600 Monsterstack, which starts September 27 with €1 million guaranteed. Six standard starting flights and a Flip and Go Pineapple flight feed into Day 2 on September 30, with the tournament concluding on October 1.

King’s Looks to Fill the WSOPE Gap

The scale of the EPC is particularly notable given what would normally be happening in Rozvadov at this point of the year.

King’s Resort hosted WSOPE from 2015 through 2025, with the series becoming one of the biggest fixtures on the venue’s calendar. The festival then began a new chapter this year, moving to King’s Casino at Hilton Prague in the Spring.

The move certainly delivered. In addition to the record-breaking Main Event, players from 83 countries were represented as WSOPE enjoyed a successful first edition in the Czech capital.

That left King’s with a sizeable hole in its traditional autumn schedule, and the EPC shows Rozvadov isn’t planning on going quiet while its former flagship festival settles into its new home.

It also fits with what King’s Resort CEO Federico Brunato has been telling PokerNews throughout the year.

Brunato has spoken about the importance of venues building a long-term identity rather than simply following competitors, saying that operators should be “setting new trends in the industry, not copying them from others.”

He has also stressed that simply putting a large guarantee on a tournament is no longer enough, with players increasingly looking for different formats and a more varied overall experience. The EPC schedule reflects some of that thinking, mixing huge traditional tournaments with Mystery Bounties, PLO, H.O.R.S.E., and other bounty events.
