Rio Hotel & Casino has partnered with gaming creators Mike and Ryan of Desert Degens, making the Las Vegas property the group’s home for regular filming, events, and promotions.
The Desert Degens will film on the casino floor at Rio on Tuesdays and Sundays. The partnership will also bring the Degen Nation together at the property for special events, group pulls, live slot play, and promotions throughout the year.
“Rio is excited to welcome the Desert Degens and their community,” said Vincent Lentini, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Rio Hotel & Casino. “Their energy and enthusiasm are a natural fit for the experience we are creating here. We look forward to serving as their Las Vegas home and hosting memorable events for the Degen Nation.”
The partnership will be marked by the Desert Degens’ second anniversary party on 9 January 2027 at Rio Hotel & Casino.
The full-day event will feature a slot tournament with a $2,000 FrioPlay prize pool and awards for the top 10 finishers. It will also include live slot play with Mike and Ryan onstage, an optional group pull, complimentary food and drinks, and a raffle with 10 prizes, including property stays, dining vouchers, show tickets, and merchandise.
The slot tournament will be free to enter with a Rio player’s card, while raffle participants must be present to win.
Event information and tickets are available through the Desert Degens anniversary party page. Additional information is available on Rio Hotel & Casino’s Desert Degens page.
