Zitro: “We’re determined to become a truly global supplier, and our strategy is clear: game performance drives our growth”

Zitro made its largest-ever appearance at G2E Las Vegas 2026, showcasing more than 100 machines and a broad lineup of new titles across its FANTASY and CONCEPT cabinets. In this interview with Yogonet, Derik Mooberry, CEO of Zitro USA, reflects on the company’s record presence at the show, the response from U.S. operators and the performance of its latest games. He also discusses how the company is building brand recognition in the U.S. as it continues to expand its land-based business.

Mooberry also looks at Zitro’s growth across Latin America, Europe and Asia, highlighting key milestones in 2026 and the role of game performance in winning new operator partnerships. He shares the company’s ambitions to strengthen its global presence and discusses Zitro Digital’s progress toward entering the U.S. online casino market, including the opportunities identified at SBC Summit Lisbon.

How would you assess Zitro’s participation in G2E Las Vegas 2026, where the company broke its own record by showcasing its largest-ever product lineup at the show?

Very positively. Without doubt, the industry now sees Zitro as a company that has really come of age, and our booth has become a must-see for operators from all over the world who want to discover our latest games.

G2E 2026 was our biggest presence in Las Vegas to date. We had more than 100 machines on display and the broadest portfolio we’ve ever brought to the show, and that investment says a lot about how confident we are in the growth of our business, both in the U.S. and globally. We had a large number of customers and operators throughout the show. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for more.

Both of our cabinets, FANTASY and CONCEPT, came to Las Vegas with a wide range of new releases.

FANTASY was definitely one of the highlights, mainly because of its sign package, which has really become a Zitro signature. On FANTASY, we introduced new game families including Wild Origins, Legendary Hammer, Tails on Rails, and Khepri’s Reelic.

On CONCEPT, we added new titles such as Clover Paddy, Penguin Party, Jin Ken Express, Funny Bunnies, Hammy Heist, Legendary Sword II, Spell Realm, Empress of Jewels, Golden Blades, Thousand Lanterns, Stack Universe, and Kakusei.

And then, of course, there was Zitro Digital, which brings our proven performance land-based games to online casinos as we prepare to enter the U.S. online gaming market.

What really set us apart, though, was the “wow” factor of our booth. It wasn’t only about the products; it was about how we brought them to life. We wanted a space with its own atmosphere, something that made a statement and showed the scale Zitro has reached today. The layout of the machines, the signs, the lighting, the colors: every detail was there to show operators what our products can bring to their casino floors.

Put all of that together, and operators got a complete picture of where Zitro is today, along with a very clear message: we have the ambition, the products, and the team to keep growing in this market. We left Las Vegas very pleased with the results, eager about the opportunities ahead, and convinced that we’re on the right track.

How has the U.S. market responded to Zitro’s 2026 portfolio? How have FANTASY and CONCEPT performed there?

The response to FANTASY and CONCEPT in the U.S. has been fantastic, and the numbers back that up. We’re on track to double our installations this year compared with 2025.

But what gives me the most confidence is how our games are performing on casino floors, because at the end of the day, that’s what matters most to operators. In the September 2026 Eilers report, 13 Zitro titles were ranked among the top 25 new games from emerging suppliers. With results like that, I have no doubt we’ll keep growing in the U.S.

What features were operators particularly interested in, and how do U.S. operators’ requirements differ from those of their Latin American counterparts?

What players want in the U.S. is actually very similar to what we see in other markets around the world. That’s great news for Zitro, because it tells us our games can succeed anywhere.

Where the difference really lies is brand awareness. In Latin America, players have been enjoying our products for many years, and they look forward to every new release. In the U.S., players are just starting to discover what makes a Zitro game unique. I’m confident that, with every new installation, we’ll build the same level of recognition we already have across Latin America.

Turning to Latin America, how has the company’s presence in the region evolved this year, and what would you highlight as its most significant milestones in 2026? Beyond Latin America, what progress have you made in markets such as EMEA and Asia?

2026 has been a key year for us in Latin America. FANTASY has established itself as one of the most compelling and eye-catching cabinets on the market, and its games rank among the top performers in the venues where they’re installed. CONCEPT is firmly at the top of the region’s performance rankings, and our Mega Lounge and Grand Mega Lounge continue to be widely recognized across the industry.

In Europe, Asia, and Africa, introducing CONCEPT, and then FANTASY this year, has been a major step forward for Zitro. Both cabinets are performing extremely well, and they’ve helped us bring highly respected operators into our customer base across the 44 jurisdictions where we operate on those continents.

Asia deserves a special mention, and the Philippines in particular. Zitro is now in every integrated resort in Manila, and we’ll soon be in every integrated resort in the country. We’ll also have a strong presence at the impressive new casino at Westside Resort Manila, which is opening soon, and that’s another clear sign of how much we’re growing there.

This year, we’ve also expanded our commercial activity in European markets such as Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Liechtenstein, as well as in the United Arab Emirates and in African markets including the Republic of the Congo and South Africa, where we’re working toward obtaining the necessary licenses.

We’re determined to make Zitro a truly global supplier, and our strategy is very clear: game performance is what drives our growth. We’ll keep expanding our customer base by partnering with leading operators and prestigious projects, and by entering jurisdictions with strong potential.

Finally, G2E Las Vegas took place alongside SBC Lisbon 2026, where the company exhibited through Zitro Digital. How would you assess that event, where online gaming was a major focus for the international operators in attendance?

SBC Lisbon was an important event for Zitro Digital. We’re completing the licensing process that will allow us to enter the U.S. online casino market, and Lisbon gave us the chance to sit down with both regulators and prospective customers.

The feedback couldn’t have been more positive. Operators know how much Zitro has grown over the past few years, and above all, they recognize the quality of our games. That has always been our strongest selling point, and it always will be.
