Betsson posts record highest revenue in single quarter

Betsson released a remarkable report indicating an unprecedented quarterly revenue of € 310.2 million for Q2 of 2026.

The company reported a year-on-year revenue increase of 2%, which is due to the remarkable performance of its customers at the World Cup FIFA.

Betsson CEO Pontus Lindwall said:

Group revenue amounted to €310 million, the highest revenue level ever for Betsson in a single quarter. Our strategy is based on a balanced mix of B2C and B2B initiatives, and we are working hard to return to growth in B2B with both existing and new customers. The FIFA World Cup has provided a solid start to the third quarter.

Although revenue increased, overall profitability decreased due to a decline in gross profits. Operating profits dropped by 39% in totaling €42. 2 million and the recorded net profit fell by 38% to € 30.4 million.

These results can be explained by lower B2B revenue as well as increased gambling taxes in regulated markets.

Latam has become the largest region for Betsson since revenue grew by 32.3 and was equal to €112.1 million. There have been remarkable results achieved in the countries such as Argentina, Peru, and Colombia in this region. Moreover, Western Europe has also demonstrated great results totaling a record of €64.2 million which was facilitated by continuous performance in Italy.

As of today, the company has got 1.83 million active customers which is nearly 30% more than a year ago. In addition to that, the operational operating cash flow was amazing and increased by 47% reaching €60.4 million.

Future developments are overly optimistic since Betsson states that this World Cup has increased betting activities in July, with average daily revenue during the opening weeks of Q3 running 13.7% above the same period last year.
