2026 WCOOP Main Event Champions Crowned

Alejandro Lococo

Alejandro “[Papo]AR” Lococo added yet another title to his glittering trophy cabinet over the weekend, as the Argentinian poker star headlined a trio of Main Event champions to close out this year’s World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP).

Lococo took down the $1,050 NLH Main Event for $343,242 on PokerStars, joining fellow South American and high roller Felipe “lipe piv” Boianovsky, who captured the $10,300 Main Event crown, and the Ukraine’s “ihor888888”, who claimed the $109 Main Event to complete the trident of champions.

Lococo defeated Ireland-based “Goodarla” heads-up, with his queen-four holding against ten-seven to secure the huge payday and the honor of being crowned an online world champion.

Fresh off chasing for just shy of a million dollars total at Triton Jeju II, Lococo added another major title to his collection, this time on the online felt. The rapper and poker player entered the final day third in chips, behind Brazil’s “calldeKhig” and Portugal’s Jorge “jorginho88” Abreu, who started the day as the chip leader, but quickly made his move and remained well above average for most of the final day.

By the time heads-up play arrived, Lococo had built a sizeable chip lead over “Goodarla” and never relinquished it. With his army of stream viewers watching on, the Argentinian got it all in preflop holding Q♦4♠ against Goodarla’s 7♥10♥ and found a clean runout to seal the victory. Lococo and his team celebrated by singing “Campeon!” as he collected $343,242 and the Main Event title.

The four-day event comfortably surpassed its $2,000,000 guarantee, with 2,310 entries creating a prize pool of more than $2.3 million, the lion’s share of which went to Lococo.

Boianovsky Becomes First Ever to Win SCOOP & WCOOP Main Titles in $10,300 Event

Felipe Boianovsky

History was made at the stacked $10,300 NLHE Main Event final table as Felipe “lipe piv” Boianovsky became the first player to win both a SCOOP Main Event and a WCOOP Main Event in the high-stakes format.

With three Brazilian players among the finalists, Boianovsky ultimately prevailed, overcoming the substantial start-of-day chip leads held by Dante “dantegoyaF” Goya, Thomas “MarToMchat” Boivin and Pablo “pabritz” Brito Silva to claim the $551,632 first prize.

The victory adds a WCOOP Main Event title to the SCOOP crown Boianovsky won in June 2023, when he took down the $10,300 SCOOP Main Event for $1,036,200. He is now the only player to have won a Main Event across both of PokerStars’ flagship Championship of Online Poker series at a $10,000+ buy-in.

Much like the $1,050 Main Event, the high roller comfortably surpassed its advertised guarantee, with 289 entries creating a prize pool just shy of $2.9 million.

“ihor888888” Gets It Done in $109 Main Event For Monster Payday

WCOOP 2026

Ukraine’s “ihor888888” entered the $109 Main Event final table sixth in chips, but produced a final-day comeback for the ages to overturn “wes345″‘s commanding start-of-day stack and defeat Hungary’s “shanyji” heads-up to win the Main Event Low.

The tournament attracted a massive 14,533 entries, comfortably surpassing its $1.25 million guarantee to create a $1,453,300 prize pool. With more than 2,000 players sharing in the money, “ihor888888” claimed the lion’s share of that monster prize pool after navigating one of the biggest fields of the WCOOP series.

It marked a major score for the Ukrainian, who walked away with the $109 Main Event title and a payday worth more than 130 times the tournament’s buy-in.
